Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire  -  Stations & Apparatus
The Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire - provides fire protection to the city of the City of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The PBF is made up of approximately 630 uniformed members. The Bureau of Fire currently responds to approximately 26,000 emergency calls annually.

The Bureau of Fire develops, implements, and administers public safety programs in areas of fire suppression, first responder emergency medical care, fire prevention, hazardous materials code enforcement, fire and arson investigation, and public education.

The City of Pittsburgh is geographically divided into four (4) Battalions, which includes 29 Stations housing 24 Engine Companies, 3 Quint Companies, 11 Truck Companies, and a Mobile Air Compressor Unit.

Pittsburgh Emergency Medical Services  -  Stations & Apparatus
The Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire - is dedicated to the reduction of morbidity and mortality of residents and visitors through the provision of Advanced Life Support prehospital care, medically directed Technical Rescue and transportation of the ill and injured.

With over 175 Paramedics, responding nearly 56,000 times each year, Pittsburgh EMS provides a wide range of services including Advanced Life Support prehospital care, medically directed Technical Rescue from a wide variety of accidents and entrapments, River Rescue, ALS coverage at special community events, community education in CPR/AED, and much more.
